The Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen

More commonly known as GISHWHES

This year’s hunt will run from August 5th to August 12th, but what does it mean?

It means that in that week you will challenge yourself, not only mentally, possibly physically, artistically and most importantly, you will challenge your daily routine and just do some weird shit.

GISHWHES was created by Misha Collins (Castiel from Supernatural) in order to make our lives better. I know it sounds ominous, but trust me, if you have the money, join, if you don’t, and you really don’t, request a sponsored registration.

The items range from donating stationary to a school, to going to read stories at a children’s hospital, to seeing a ghost in a coffee shop.

How can you see a ghost in a coffee shop? Well, that’s the thing, a lot of the items are open to interpretation, and the judges will decide if they liked yours.

Not all of the items are that weird and difficult to do, there are a handful of items for lazier folk, such as retweeting something, or figuring out a riddle.

There are 150+ items each year and you’re a team of 15, so you will definitely have some submissions. Just for your own interest, here are some example entries, taken from the GISHWHES website.

Oh, and what could you win?

This year you could win and all expenses paid trip to Hawaii WITH Misha. How frikken insane is that?

If you don’t win, know that in that week, more people performed kind acts than ever before, last year we raised over $200 000 for a Syrian refugee family and that’s just amazing.

Go on, sign up.
